Richard is an enthusiastic
and talented architect-artist who as SSAA member no3 was among the initial group to form the SSAA in 1987. His work is well respected throughout the Scottish artistic
community, and he was elected President of the SSAA and served for over a decade, steering the membership unerringly through its 25th anniversary year in 2012.
Richard Jaques, ARIAS, RIBA, lives in Edinburgh and as an architect in private practice and freelance art and architecture critic for several newspapers and magazines he also exhibits and sells his distinctive artworks in galleries throughout Scotland and in SSAA annual exhibitions.
