David Nicol trained as an architect and became a partner in the long established Aberdeen architectural practice Jenkins and Marr in 1994. David lived in Glasgow and worked on the award winning Buchanan Galleries in Buchanan Street, but has also spent time in Hong Kong.
Since 2010 David has concentrated fully on creating artwork much of which is inspired by the special light and shade in the East Neuk of Fife.
