As a qualified
Architect, and Chartered Town Planner Ian was Chief
Planner, for Edinburgh City Council. He was actively involved on the planning processes at
Edinburgh waterfront and created mechanisms to aid the strategic view of the
area in respect of both the public and the private sector.
