Andrew Merrylees, RSA, has spent his professional life in
private practice, initially as a Partner of Sir Basil Spence and later as
Principal in his own practice.
He has received many awards including the the
Royal Scottish Academy Gold Medal, and the Art in Architecture Award. He was elected to the Royal Scottish Academy
in 1984 and appointed Honorary Professor of Architecture, University of Dundee in
1998.
He is a founder member of the Scottish
Society of Architect Artists, and exhibits regularly at the Royal Scottish
Academy, The Scottish Arts Club and all SSAA Exhibitions.
